I've been using these fixtures for about 15 years now. I've watched the price steadily increase from about $8.50 per unit to about $20. At $20, they are still a good alternative, priced less than many other options. I've installed probably 30-40 of these over the years and had to replace the socket in one of them after several years - great performance in my mind. Somehow moisture made it's way into the fixture. One secret to making these last forever is to use anti-seize compound on the cover screws. That way you can replace the lamp, if necessary, but with the increased availability of LED lamps, that may not be an issue. Great product!!
