While a piece of PVC pipe works great to make your own sleeve, this makes for a quick solution to buying 10-ft of pipe to make just one sleeve. Additionally, the little spring clip that's included is a nice feature. However, the screws that come with the clips are too short. I had to fish a couple of stainless screws out of my assortment to attach the clip to the well light. For the kit contents, the price is a little steep, especially when the screws don't work.
