Bulb Type: MR16 GU/GX5.3 Bi-Pin LED/Halogen Lamps!
Housing
▪ Double Wall IC Rated for direct contact with insulation, for use in IC and Non-IC conditions. Integral T-Bar slots for easy installation in T-grids.
▪ Housing adjusts in frame to accommodate 1 1/4" ceiling thickness, Steel housing for greater heat dissipation. Stamped Galvanized steel frame.
▪ Airtight housing with gasket to restrict airflow in accordance with ASTM E-283 air-tight requirements. Maximum Hole Cut-out is 6 1/2".
Junction Box
▪ Positioned to accommodate straight conduit runs.
▪ Seven (7) 1/2" trade size pry-out conduit knockouts. Four (4) 3/4" Knockouts with Pry-Out knockout slots.
▪ Four (4) Romex pry-outs with strain relief.
Hanger Bars / New Construction
▪ Pre-installed hanger bars with True Nail facilitates easy installation in regular lumber, engineered lumber, and laminated beams.
▪ Spans up to 24° and can be repositioned 90°. Score lines allow for tool-free hanger bar size reduction. Integral leveling flange allows for single-person installation while aligning the housing with the joists.
Installation
▪ Designed for ceiling plenums where 2x8 joists or taller are used. High strength hanger bars can be easily nailed to joists. Suitable for T-grid and drop ceiling applications.
Electrical/Dimmability
▪ Input Voltage: 120V AC. Output Voltage: 12V AC. Thermally protected against improper lamping. Use only dimmers specifically designed for use with Magnetic Transformers.
Trims/Lamp
▪ Compatible with ELCO 6" MR16 Trims. 50W Max., 12V, MR16 GU/GX5.3 Bi-Pin LED/Halogen. Lamp Holder: MR16 GU/GX5.3 Bi-Pin Socket.

▪ UL Listed for Damp Location/Wet Locations with Select Trims. UL Listed for Feed Through.
▪ Airtight per ASTM E-283. Install a JA8 2016-E lamp/luminaire for Title 24 compliance.
